Autumn Update from Ronan Treacy

People have been saying I'm cutting back on my work in the UK—not quite the case! October 2025 was just a super busy month with a lot of Hip Resurfacing meetings around the world.

• I gave a guest lecture at the Caribbean Orthopaedic Association in Kingston, Jamaica (right before the hurricane hit).

• Also, I gave a guest lecture at the Hip Resurfacing Session of the European Hip Society in Thessaloniki, Greece.

• Then, I did some surgeries in Bermuda, including four Polymotion Hip Resurfacings as part of the US FDA IDE trial.

• Plus, I performed hip surgeries at Priory Hospital in Birmingham, UK.

Looking ahead to 2026, my schedule is already filling up with the final hip surgeries for the Polymotion FDA trial. I’m hoping to announce soon that I'll be available for consultations and hip resurfacing surgery at a more convenient spot for US and Canadian patients.
